Patrick Madden

Patrick Madden is an adventurous and creative Cork born artist. He works mainly in acrylics, as well as oils, watercolours, pen and ink mixed media. His paintings have an atmospheric quality energised by his painting style. Sparks of unexpected colour dance on the surface of the canvas and delight the eye.

Patrick’s paintings are above all a true expression of his reflective and creative spirit – full of colour, passion, life and heart. He is one of those artists who brings a personal poetic vision to his artistic skills. His paintings are imbued with a strong sense of rhythm and flow of nature, delivered with a fresh intuitive assurance.

Patrick finds his subject matter for this exhibition in cloud filled skies, moving water, rocky shores, unique nautical scenes full of colour and imagination. Elements of abstraction are combined with realism that reflect a free-spirited nature translated into fine art.
