Helen studied at Crawford College Of Art and graduated in 2010 with an Honours Degree in Fine Art. At present she works in a space at Backwater Artists Studios, Wandesford Quay, Cork. Her work is represented in several public collections including the Office of Public Works and Ely Lily and she has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions. Her work is also represented in many corporate and private collections, both in Ireland and abroad.
“My painting is largely influenced by West Cork where my family comes from; my grandmother from Schull and my great-grandmother from Horse Island. I have been surrounded for many years by the vibrant atmosphere that is West Cork – its land, sea and islands. The result is my work.”
